This was my first time at SoberStock and I am so glad that I was able to experience it. The speakers were marvelous, the meetings were so moving - the bands were great – I could go on and on. Overall, just a wonderful spiritually healthy recovery weekend. It is so awesome to see what GOD is doing! Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event possible! Shelly L. I had a great time. I attended the 2010 event. My AA Sponsor invited me & asked me today, "So, how was the event for you?" My response, "Best time I've had in years, literally." My favorite part? The fellowship. I met so many new, fun & wonderful people. From parking, registration, food, meetings, & all the volunteers in every department working so hard, I was amazed. Fantastic super A+ music, the food was great & plentiful, not to over-look the wide variety of things to do! This will now be a must-do annual event for me. Thanks to everyone; the volunteers, the other attendees, the Ocala Bongo group :) and my Sponsor for helping me attend this exceptional event. Shawn McD What an AA life-changing event for me! It woke me up to the fact that I have missing out on a lot of opportunities to enchance my Program. The weather was great, even Sunday when it rained, the Fellowship was wonderful, the Speakers were fantasic. My hat is off to all the members of the Soberstock Committee and Vision Audio for being there to tape all the Speakers! I would tell everyone to spread the word and start planning now for Soberstock 2011, because I am. It's an event you must not miss. SoberStock 2009 Comments: 2009 was the first year I went and we had great weather, lots of sunshine. We went swimming, cannoeing, played horse shoes, frisbee, football, did some hiking, rode our bikes, tried karaoke. Lots of good food, fun, fellowship and meetings to boot! I have already bought my tickets for this year!!!! \"SEE YA THERE\ Dave P. Amazing having all that much fun sober. dont get much better. this (will) be my 5th time there. Every one (is) better than the last..ty guys Tommy G. Last year was my first time at SoberStock and it really showed me that the party has not ended just because I got sober!! I was there from Friday on and only got about 4 hours sleep but it was oh so worth it!! This event rocks and can't wait for this years!! Wooohooo it sure is great to be sober and living!!! The campgrounds were beautiful, the meetings were top notch, the music was sweet, and the abundance of food didn't hurt. Also, there were plenty of chances for service. I cant wait for the third annual Soberstock. The music was great and the fellowship was amazing. Thanks again. This years SoberStock was a blast, and was better than last year's. I like the new camp ground. I liked the 3 day event. The speakers were absolutely wonderful, and the open meetings (were) great too. The bands - well what can I say, except great !!!!!!. Beach Club 7am - yeh, we are the girls,(and guys) as Cake sings that "get up early" SoberStock 2005 Comments I don't know if you'll be checking your emails anymore but I wanted to write anyway. This week-end's Soberstock was absolutely fabulous. You guys did a great job. What a Herculean effort must have gone into making the whole thing come off so smoothly (at least from our perspective everything ran well)! We, of course, would love to see this become a yearly event. I think it is one of the best things my family and I have done in sobriety! Thank you so much for all your hard work and I hope you guys made lots of money! Angel L. (This) weekend really showed how great life in recovery can be when we show up and participate. Met many new friends.
Thoroughly enjoyed the music. and the meetings were special-both the scheduled meetings as well as spontaneous
meetings here and there around the campground. Had forgotten how much fun it is toasting marshmallows on a
campfire. And "Amazing Grace" on Sunday morning by Gino "McHaggus" on the pier was moving. I want to thank you guys for a wonderful time. My friends and I enjoyed it very much. We hope ya'll are planning to do
it again next year! You guys did a wonderful job of organizing everything and the place was beautiful. The speakers
